Our unique EDRfinder Retrieval Kit for Tesla vehicles enables you to download the EDR systems that may be available on Model S, Model X and Model 3 vehicles. According to Tesla, there is currently no EDR on Tesla Roadsters.
The Tesla EDR retrieval process includes downloading a (currently) free software from Tesla (the Tesla EDR Tool). This tool will allow you to communicate with a Tesla vehicle or ACM using a special CAN Adapter and matching cables. The software creates a text file that must be uploaded to
edr.tesla.com for translation, outputting a PDF file for your use.

We offer solutions for downloads via the Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC) as well as Direct to Module (D2M) downloads. You will need a special CAN-to-USB adapter (FSB-007) that the Tesla EDR software relies on, which is also available from us at a very competitive price.
Cables for DLC downloads
Use these cables when the vehicle / wiring harness is intact and there is sufficient power supply in the vehicle or you were able to repower the vehicle.

Cables for D2M downloads
Use these cables when the vehicle / wiring harness is damaged and/or you cannot repower the Airbag Control Module (ACM) in the vehicle. In this case you can remove the ACM from the vehicle and use our D2M cables to directly attach the CAN adapter (FSB-007)
to the ACM.
